Tina and Todd tied the knot on June 27, 2008. The day began at their lovely home, with a little help from Christina at Special Occasion Hair Design. The afternoon ceremony took place at Asbury First United Methodist Church amidst a gathering of family and friends. Then everyone headed for Casa Larga to celebrate. The lush vineyards were a perfect setting for some creative portraits. Tina and Todd ended a perfect evening with an ice cream bar. What a special treat for their guests! Jennie and Chris said “I do” at beautiful Mountain Springs Lake Resort in Reeders, Pennsylvania, on June 7, 2008. Nestled in the picturesque Pocono Mountains, these charming cottages served as dressing rooms for the bridal party. But before the gowns, the girls decided on one last row around that peaceful lake. Although the day was hot, their alfresco ceremony beside the water was very beautiful in a stunning setting. This unique bridal party included bridesmaids and goomswomen.
After dinner, for their first dance as husband and wife, Jennie and Chris lit up the floor with a choreographed ballroom swing that blew their guests away! Everyone danced long into the night. Lindsay and Joshua were married on May 31, 2008. They chose the Interfaith Chapel on the University of Rochester campus for their ceremony. In spite of a few raindrops, the sun came out long enough for some poses in the lovely gazebo at the RIT Inn and Conference Center. Inside everyone enjoyed a great dinner and danced the night away to music styled by Turner Music Productions. Thank you, Lindsay and Joshua, for allowing me the privilege of capturing your very special wedding day.
Last week I had the pleasure of photographing Mr. Harry Smith, news anchor of The Early Show on CBS. He is a very cool guy who made his audience at the Hyatt Regency feel at ease, even though his speech was soul searching and focused on today’s sometimes disturbing social dilemmas. Harry was in town as the keynote speaker for the Ad Council of Rochester’s Annual Spring Luncheon Celebration. The Ad Council organizes public awareness campaigns and provides marketing and communication education to nonprofit groups. This year’s fundraising luncheon netted some $20,000. Congratulations to the six award winners!
