Deaf Wellness Center Commercial

Filed under: Event, NEWS, Shows — Tim @ 2:09 pm

Actress Linda Bove, a Sesame Street regular from 1971–2003, came to Rochester for a Public Service Announcement produced by the Ad Council of Rochester for the University of Rochester’s Deaf Wellness Center. The TV spot, filmed entirely in American Sign Language, is aimed at educating the deaf community about depression as a treatable mental health issue. The production team included Roberts Communications, the lead pro bono agency on the project, with Nick DiBella, Director, and Chris Hart, Cinematographer. Film, equipment, processing, and transfers were all donated by Eastman Kodak Company. Still photography was donated by Timothy Toal, TJT Photography. The commercial should be ready to air this summer.

Showcase Invitation

Filed under: Shows — Tim @ 10:11 am

I’ve just received a most gracious invitation from the Ad Council of Rochester to showcase some of my landscape pieces at their offices in Village Gate. The Ad Council is the leading volunteer provider of marketing communications services in Rochester, and they are dedicated to improving the quality of life in our area. For the past five years I have been volunteering my photographic services to this thriving and highly regarded community-service organization. If you have occasion to do business with the Ad Council this spring, please enjoy the 22 large nature images displayed throughout their space. My work will be showcased from February 7 through April 30, 2008. If you would like to know more about the Ad Council, please visit their website at www.adcouncilroch.org

Gallery Showing

Filed under: Shows — Tim @ 10:20 am

Take a few minutes out of your busy life to enjoy some art. Visit the Image City Photography Gallery on University Avenue and check out their current show, “Elsewhere.” It is their first juried show, and I was lucky enough to have three images accepted. Don’t leave until you’ve seen my interpretation of White Sands National Monument in New Mexico and Death Valley in California, two vast, wild locations that truly are “elsewhere.” The show will hang from January 2–27, 2008. For more details visit www.imagecityphotographygallery.com.
