Spring is prom season, and I enjoyed the honor of photographing the Wayne High School Junior Prom at Harro East Ballroom on April 24. Wayne is my alma mater too! We provided two professional sets for formal prom portraits, as well as capturing dozens of candid images throughout the festive evening. Excited and very jazzed prom guests dined and danced until 11:00 p.m. to music presented by Michael from Celebration Sound. Thanks to my prom team for all of their hard work and support. We couldn’t have done it without you!

If you’re a biker, your “chopper” is your pride and joy. Axe called the studio from Y Chrome Customs in Jacksonville, Florida. He was showing a custom-made bike at the Skin and Steel (that’s bikes and tattoos) Show here in Rochester and wanted us to photograph the “Timer Killer” with a “goth” model. It was a unique and fun shoot. We captured some great detail images and shot this red hot set of wheels from all angles.

We recently did a very cool location shoot with Omar, Heather, and Kristen from New York Model Talent at Tribeca nightclub in the Brown’s Race Historic District. The trendy club is filled with color and mood lighting, which inspired some provocative and edgy posing against the splashy and seductive décor. Everyone had great fun at this hot nightspot. Thanks to Omar, Heather, Kristen, New York Model Talent, and Tribeca.

Last week I had the pleasure of making a group photograph of the talented area ladies planning the first Rochester International Women’s Day. An official holiday in 14 countries, their hope is to inspire recognition and celebrate the accomplishments of women. The event will feature Chair Jamie Columbus’ “Earth Tones Women” exhibit at the Rochester Contemporary Art Center—a mosaic of photographs and paintings from her trips to multicultural environments in Africa, Asia, South America, and the Middle East.
